I welcome you to our school, Lilydale West Primary School. Lilydale West is a school known for the value it places on good relationships between students, teachers and parents. One of the aspects of our school rated highly and often communicated to me by parents, is the support given by staff to students.
Staff who will take the time to understand and support their child. I am proud to work with such a committed and professional group.
The school also has excellent facilities and staff in all aspects of the curriculum and offers many outstanding opportunities both educational and recreational for its students. Our acclaimed Visual Arts and LOTE (Indonesian) programs and our excellent Performing Arts achievements are just three examples. We also offer a sound understanding of the needs of children of varying abilities from highly advanced to those who need ongoing support, and we have programs to match these. The school operates a clear and effective Student Code of Conduct which provides a safe environment for our students and outlines rights, responsibilities, expectations and consequences. Staff, students and parents are supported in the implementation of this.
