Whole School Assemblies are held each Monday afternoon at 9.00 am, at the front of the school. At the beginning of assembly the National Anthem is sung.
Assembly usually goes for about 30 minutes
A typical assembly format is:
- National Anthem
- School Captains and Vice Captains present awards from previous week
- House Points presented by house captains
- Sports Reports by sports managers
- Junior Environmental Group awards and reports by Junior Environmental Group leaders
- Junior School Council reports/news by Junior School Council leaders
- Performing Arts/sports news by Performing Arts Leaders
- Other current items may also be presented eg. Attendance Awards, Visits by Captain You Can Do It to speak about one of the 5 keys of You Can Do It - Organisation, Getting Along, Confidence, Persistence and Resiliance, Indonesian items, Songs etc.
- At the conclusion of assembly a run down of what's coming up for this week is given by the Principal and any other announcements
